1. Information We Collect

• Account information: When you sign in with Google or create an email account, we collect your email address and display name.
• Job postings: Text you paste into the app for analysis. This content is processed by Anthropic's Claude AI and may be cached to improve performance.
• Resumes: If you upload a resume, the extracted text is stored securely in our database and used only to provide resume fit analysis.
• Usage data: We track how many analyses you perform per day to enforce free tier limits.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide job posting analysis and resume fit scoring
• To manage your account and subscription
• To improve our pattern database through community reports you voluntarily submit
• To process payments via Stripe (we never store your card details)

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Your data is shared only with:

• Anthropic — job posting text is sent to Claude AI for analysis
• Supabase — our database provider stores your account and resume data
• Stripe — processes subscription payments
• Google — if you sign in with Google, your basic profile is shared per Google's OAuth policy

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security enabled. Authentication is handled by Supabase Auth with industry-standard JWT tokens. Session tokens expire after 30 days.

5. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing gwbrewerjr@gmail.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

6. Cookies & Sessions

We use browser-based session tokens (not tracking cookies) to keep you logged in. These tokens are managed by Supabase Auth and expire after 30 days.

7. Children's Privacy

JobClarity AI is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
